Hace relativamente poco tiempo que Vera llegó a la tierra, y si vino fue porque unos familiares suyos la convencieron. Reconozcámoslo: Vera siempre fue muy escéptica con el tema de la emigración a nuestro planeta, y aborrecía la idea de dejar su hogar pero, con el paso del tiempo, se fue dando cuenta de que si no venía se iba a quedar sola en su planeta, y decidió venir. Vera, una alien muy de la vieja escuela, se está adaptando con bastante facilidad a la tierra y los humanos, pero sigue habiendo muchísimas cosas que la desconciertan y que se siente incapaz de comprender. Como, por ejemplo, las citas exprés. Que un grupo de machos y hembras humanos paguen por reunirse en una cafetería y hablar unos con otros por turnos cronometrados (y que, de este modo esperen encontrar el amor) es algo que, sencillamente, la asombra y la inquieta hasta tal punto que se está planteando llevar a cabo un estudio serio sobre esta cuestión. En estos momentos está reuniendo bibliografía.

Vera arrived on earth not so long ago, and truth is she came because some relatives of her talkes her into it. Let's face it: Vera had always been very skeptical when it came to destiny-earth-immigration, and she hated the idea of leaving her home. But time went by and the idea grew on her when she realized that she would end up alone in her planet if she didn't come to earth. And so, she came. Vera, a very old-school alien, is adapting herself rather well to earth and humans, but there's still plenty of things that disconcert her, because she can't understand them. Like, for example, speed dating. The fact that a group of male and female humans decide to pay for getting together in a cafe and talking to one another taking turns and being timed (and the fact that they expect to find love this way) is something that astonishes and worries her so much that she is planning on making a serious study on the subject. She's currently gathering her bibliography.
